Chris Young has been found not guilty of all charges following his arrest at a bar in Nashville.
Country singer Chris Young has been declared innocent after being accused of having a dispute with an agent from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission, which resulted in his arrest on Monday evening.
On Friday, the District Attorney of Nashville, Glenn Fun, released a statement stating that in relation to the incident involving Chris Young, the Office of the District Attorney has thoroughly examined all the evidence and decided to dismiss the charges.
Young was accused of engaging in disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer. The incident supposedly occurred when the TABC was conducting a routine check of identification and license cards at bars located on Demonbreun Hill, a well-known area with multiple nightclubs in Nashville. While the TABC was verifying the IDs of customers who were drinking at Tin Roof, Young provided his identification but then proceeded to question and record the actions of the agents.
According to a document obtained by Rolling Stone, the agent claimed that Young prevented them from leaving the Dawg House and physically stopped the agent from leaving by placing his hands on the agent's shoulder. However, surveillance video from the night of the arrest seemed to contradict these claims and showed no evidence of Young assaulting the officer.

After the arrest, Young's lawyer, Bill Ramsey, expressed disagreement with the arrest and demanded that the charges be dismissed.
Ramsey, the representative of my client Chris Young, expressed his disapproval of the incident that took place at a bar in Nashville on Monday night. According to Ramsey, it was unjustified to arrest and charge Chris Young in the first place. Ramsey believes that, considering the video evidence, the Tennessee ABC should dismiss the charges and offer an apology for the physical, emotional, and career-related damage inflicted upon his client.
