Chris Young Exonerated: Charges Dropped in Nashville Bar Arrest

  • by

Chris Young has been acquitted of all charges following his arrest at a bar in Nashville.

Country singer Chris Young has been found not guilty of any wrongdoing after being accused of getting into a heated argument with an agent from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission, which resulted in his arrest on Monday evening.

On Friday, the District Attorney of Nashville, Glenn Fun, released a statement announcing that the charges against Chris Young will be dropped. This decision was made after a thorough examination of all the evidence related to the incident.

Young was accused of committing disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assaulting an officer. The incident supposedly occurred during a regular inspection of identification and license cards carried out by the TABC at the bars located on Demonbreun Hill, a well-known area in Nashville with multiple nightclubs. When the TABC requested Young's ID while he was drinking at the Tin Roof bar, he initially complied but then proceeded to question and record the agents.

According to an arrest affidavit obtained by Rolling Stone, the agent stated that Young prevented the agents from leaving Dawg House and physically stopped the agent from leaving by touching their shoulder. However, surveillance video from the night of the arrest seemed to contradict these claims, as it did not show Young assaulting the officer.

The final season of the television show 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' is receiving mixed reviews. Following an arrest, Young's lawyer, Bill Ramsey, expressed his belief that the arrest was unjust and called for the charges to be dismissed.

Ramsey, the attorney representing Chris Young, strongly believes that the events that unfolded at a bar in Nashville were unjust and that his client should never have been arrested or charged. He emphasizes the importance of the video evidence and urges the Tennessee ABC to dismiss the charges against Young and offer a sincere apology for the physical, emotional, and professional distress inflicted upon his client.
