Jon Pardi’s Wife Reveals Surprising Details About Her Second Pregnancy

  • by

Jon Pardi's spouse has shared information about her second pregnancy. After announcing the news to their fans, Jon Pardi and his wife Summer are fully focused on preparing for their upcoming baby. Summer recently provided her followers with a glimpse into her current pregnancy through an interactive Q&A session on Instagram Stories.

The singer's spouse shared some insights about pregnancy and babies during a fan Q&A session on Saturday (Jan. 27). She discussed the unexpected discovery of her current pregnancy, explaining that it was surprising because it took them some time to conceive their first child, Presley, who is now one year old.

Summer shared in one slide that they had a difficult time conceiving their child, Presley. After trying for two years and being advised to undergo IVF, they unexpectedly became pregnant naturally when they decided to let go of all their worries. Therefore, in October, they made the decision to start trying for another baby, considering the possibility of facing another lengthy process, but to their surprise, they were successful.

She discovered her pregnancy in the morning after taking a test that initially showed a negative result. She woke up very early and decided to take the test because she and her partner had been trying to conceive for a few weeks. After seeing the negative result, she felt disappointed, threw the test in the trash, and went back to bed.

Luckily, the story didn't conclude there. Summer, after a couple of hours, decided to retrieve the discarded pregnancy test and recheck it. Surprisingly, the result was undeniably positive. She realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests that show results almost instantly, forgetting that pregnancy tests need a few minutes to fully develop.

In another part of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This was unexpected for her because she experienced different symptoms during this pregnancy compared to her first one. During this time, she felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which made her believe she was carrying a boy. She had already chosen the theme for the nursery and made preparations based on that assumption.

Earlier this month, the Pardis revealed the gender of their upcoming child in a unique way. They pulled away two slices from a pepperoni pizza, revealing pink slips of paper underneath to indicate that they were expecting a girl. Despite being surprised by the news, Summer and her husband, who is a country singer, expressed their extreme excitement about adding another girl to their family.

The well-being and happiness of our baby is our top priority. Additionally, we feel content with having two children, although we can't predict the future, we currently have no intentions of having a third child.

The couple disagrees on one aspect of being parents, and that is the name for their upcoming baby. Summer claims that Pardi, who had chosen their first child's name, dislikes all the names she suggests for their second child. Summer jokingly mentions that they are currently not talking because Pardi believes he gets to choose the name again. However, she shares a list of her favorite name options, such as Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.

Pardi and summer tied the knot in 2020 and welcomed their child, Presley, in February 2023. When they made the announcement about their pregnancy, they revealed that they had been actively trying to have a baby since their wedding. They had sought advice from medical professionals before deciding to take a break from their attempts to conceive. Surprisingly, shortly after taking this break, they successfully became pregnant.
