Loretta Lynn’s Son’s Post-Surgery Update Reveals Disappointing Results

  • by

Loretta Lynn's family recently shared an update on her son, Ernest Ray Lynn, who underwent surgery to treat his kidney failure. Unfortunately, the initial results of the procedure suggest that it did not yield the desired outcome according to the doctors' expectations.

Crystal, the wife of Ernest, shared an update with fans on Thursday (Jan. 25), a few days after his surgery. She had initially shared details on Facebook and mentioned that this was the day when doctors would be able to provide more information about the outcome of the operation.

In her update, she expressed that the day did not turn out as expected, but they are not losing hope. They firmly believe that this operation will be successful and that their needs will be met by the Lord. They kindly request prayers for the new device to start functioning properly tomorrow morning. They have faith in God and the strength of prayer and are grateful for the ongoing prayers, care, and friendship they have received.

As of Sunday, Crystal has not provided any additional official updates on Ernest. However, she has taken to social media to inform fans that the family is still praying for her husband. Additionally, she has shared a collection of photos of Ernest, some of which seem to have been captured while he was in the hospital.

Loretta Lynn survived the passing of two of her children who she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. The first was their oldest daughter Betty Sue, who passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The second was their oldest son Jack Benny, who tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.

Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved legendary status in the realm of country music and held the record for being the most decorated female country artist in history.

40 country singers and songwriters who passed away at a young age are being remembered. The credit for the gallery goes to Billy Dukes.
