Musician Wyatt Flores expresses his emotions about a lost love through his heartfelt new song "Milwaukee."
Wyatt Flores, a promising singer from Oklahoma, has returned with a heartfelt breakup song titled "Milwaukee." This track marks one of his first new releases since his highly successful EP, Life Lessons, which gained popularity in 2023.
According to Flores, Milwaukee represents those moments when you had feelings for someone, but it wasn't a complete and deep love. It serves as a heartfelt expression of the pain caused by past love and the realization of the errors made. Flores believes that we all hope our mistakes don't shape our identity, and Milwaukee encapsulates that sentiment. Love requires effort and if we don't actively work to maintain it, it will eventually fade away.
"In a certain location in Milwaukee, the concrete is now covered with snow. As I witness this, I am reminded of the moment when you walked away from me," Flores expresses through his vocals in the beginning of the song. "I made an attempt to apologize, but the rain turned into ice and continued to fall. I was unable to find the right words to convince you to stay." Further along in the track, Flores pleads with his ex, hoping that they won't harbor hatred towards his emotions and feelings.
Flores collaborated with Graham Barham, Gavin Lucas, and Cole Miracle to write the song "Milwaukee". This is Flores' first release of new music since his album Life Lessons. As a Christmas gift to his fans, he also released his rendition of The Fray's "How to Save a Life", a song he had previously performed in concert.
