Chris Young has been found not guilty of all charges after being arrested at a bar in Nashville.
Country singer Chris Young has been exonerated of all accusations after an apparent altercation with a representative from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission, which led to his detention on Monday evening.
On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney Glenn Fun released a statement announcing that the charges against Chris Young will be dropped. After thoroughly examining all the evidence related to the incident, the Office of the District Attorney has concluded that there is not enough justification to proceed with the charges.
Young was accused of engaging in disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assaulting an officer. The incident apparently occurred during a routine inspection of identification and licenses conducted by the TABC at the bars located on Demonbreun Hill, a well-known area with multiple nightclubs in Nashville. While the TABC was checking the identification of customers at Tin Roof bar, Young willingly presented his ID but then proceeded to question and film the agents.
According to an arrest affidavit obtained by Rolling Stone, the agent stated that Young prevented the agents from leaving the Dawg House and physically stopped the agent by placing his hands on the agent's shoulder. However, surveillance video from the night of the arrest seemed to contradict these claims, as it did not show Young assaulting the officer during the incident on Monday night.

Bill Ramsey, the lawyer representing Young, expressed his disagreement with the arrest and urged for the charges to be dismissed.
Attorney Ramsey expressed his dissatisfaction with the arrest and charges against his client, Chris Young, following an incident at a Nashville bar. Ramsey believes that the actions taken were unjust and that the Tennessee ABC should withdraw the charges and offer an apology for the negative impact it had on Young's well-being, both physically and emotionally, as well as his professional reputation.
