Jon Pardi’s Wife Shares Surprising Details About Her Second Pregnancy

  • by

Jon Pardi's spouse, Summer, has shared some information about her second pregnancy. The couple recently announced to their fans that they are expecting their second child. They are now fully focused on preparing for the arrival of their baby and Summer provided a glimpse into her current pregnancy through an Instagram Stories Q&A session over the weekend.

The singer's spouse recently responded to some inquiries from fans regarding pregnancy and babies. Among the questions was how she discovered she was pregnant this time. She confessed that the news came unexpectedly, not because they weren't attempting to conceive, but because it took them a significant amount of time to get pregnant with their daughter Presley, who is currently one year old.

Summer shared in a slide that they faced significant difficulties in conceiving their child, Presley. Despite trying for two years and being advised to undergo IVF, they miraculously conceived naturally when they least expected it. Encouraged by this unexpected success, they decided to begin trying for another baby in October, anticipating that it might take a while just like before.

The day she discovered her pregnancy began with a pregnancy test that initially showed a negative result. She woke up very early in the morning and decided to take the test because she and her partner had been trying to conceive for the past few weeks. After watching the test, which turned out to be negative, she felt disappointed and threw it away before going back to bed.

Luckily, the situation did not come to an end at that point. After a few hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the trash and recheck it. To her surprise, the result was clearly positive. Summer realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests that provide quick results, and had forgotten that pregnancy tests need a few minutes to fully develop.

In other parts of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This was unexpected for her because some of the symptoms she experienced during this pregnancy were very different from her first one. During this pregnancy, she felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which made her believe that she was going to have a boy. She even had already chosen a nursery theme based on this assumption.

In recent weeks, the Pardis used a unique method to announce the gender of their upcoming child. They revealed the baby's gender by removing two slices from a pepperoni pizza, uncovering pink slips of paper beneath. Despite both Summer and her husband, a country singer, being taken aback by the news of having another daughter, they express immense enthusiasm and joy about the forthcoming addition to their family.

According to her, the well-being of a happy and healthy baby is the top priority. Additionally, she mentioned that they are content with having two babies at the moment. While she doesn't completely rule out the possibility of a third baby in the future, they currently have no intentions or plans for expanding their family further.

However, there is a disagreement between the couple when it comes to choosing a name for their upcoming baby. Summer reveals that Pardi, who had previously chosen their first child's name, does not like any of her suggestions for their second baby. This has led to a temporary halt in their communication, although she assures that she is just kidding. Summer also shares a list of her current favorite name options, which include Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.

Pardi and Summer tied the knot in 2020, and their daughter Presley was born in February 2023. When they made the pregnancy announcement, they revealed that they had been actively trying to have a baby since their wedding. They sought medical advice and took a break from attempting to conceive before eventually becoming pregnant.
