Jon Pardi’s Wife Shares Surprising Details About Her Second Pregnancy

Jon Pardi's spouse has revealed information about her second pregnancy. After announcing that they are expecting their second child, Jon Pardi and his wife Summer are fully focused on preparing for the baby. Summer recently shared insights into her current pregnancy through an Instagram Stories Q&A session.

The singer's spouse took the time on Saturday (Jan. 27) to respond to some inquiries from fans regarding pregnancy and babies. Among the questions was the tale of how she discovered she was pregnant this time. She confessed that the news was unexpected, not due to them not attempting to conceive, but because it took them a considerable amount of time to get pregnant the first time, with their one-year-old daughter Presley.

Summer shared in a slide that they faced significant difficulties in conceiving their child, Presley. Despite trying for two years and being advised to undergo IVF, they unexpectedly conceived naturally when they decided to let go of the stress and pressure. Encouraged by this success, they decided to start trying for another baby in October, anticipating another lengthy journey to conception.

One morning, she discovered she was pregnant by taking a test. Initially, the test showed a negative result. She had woken up early, needing to use the bathroom, and decided to take the test because she and her partner had been trying to conceive for a few weeks. Disappointed with the negative result, she threw the test in the trash and went back to bed.

Luckily, the story didn't come to an end there. After a few hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the garbage and recheck it. To her surprise, the result was clearly positive. Summer realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests providing instant results and had forgotten that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully develop.

In other parts of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl, particularly because some of the signs she had during this pregnancy were very different from her first one. On this occasion, she mentions that she felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which made her believe that she was expecting a boy. She even had already decided on a theme for the nursery.

Earlier in the current month, the Pardis performed a straightforward gender reveal by removing two slices from a pepperoni pizza to unveil pink pieces of paper beneath them. Despite both Summer and her spouse, who is a country singer, being taken aback by the news of having another daughter, she expresses great enthusiasm and excitement about the addition to their family.

The well-being and happiness of a healthy baby is of utmost importance. Additionally, we are content with having two babies. Although I won't completely rule it out, we currently do not have any intentions or arrangements for a third baby.

The couple is not in agreement about the name of their unborn baby. Summer claims that Pardi, who had chosen their first child's name, dislikes all of her suggestions for their second child's name. This disagreement has caused a temporary rift between them, although Summer assures that she is joking about not talking to him. She has also shared a list of her current favorite name choices, which includes Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.

Pardi and Summer tied the knot in 2020, and their daughter, Presley, was born in February 2023. When they made their pregnancy announcement, they revealed that they had been attempting to conceive a child since their wedding. They even sought advice from doctors before taking a break from their efforts, which eventually led to a successful pregnancy.
