Jon Pardi’s Wife Shares Surprising Details of Her Second Pregnancy Journey

  • by

Summer, the wife of Jon Pardi, recently shared some exciting details about her second pregnancy with fans. The couple, known for their country music, are fully embracing the baby preparations and Summer provided a glimpse into her current pregnancy through an interactive Q&A session on Instagram Stories over the weekend.

During the weekend, the wife of the singer responded to some inquiries from fans regarding pregnancy and babies. She shared the story of how she discovered she was pregnant this time. She confessed that the news was unexpected, not because they were not attempting to conceive, but because it took them a considerable amount of time to get pregnant the first time around with their one-year-old daughter, Presley.

Summer shared that they faced difficulties in conceiving their child, Presley, as they tried for two years and were advised to undergo IVF. However, they were pleasantly surprised when they conceived naturally as soon as they decided to let go of the pressure. Due to their previous experience, they decided to start trying for another baby in October, anticipating another lengthy process.

The day she discovered she was pregnant began with a pregnancy test that initially showed a negative result. She woke up very early in the morning and decided to take the test because she and her partner had been trying to conceive for a few weeks. After taking the test and seeing it turn negative, she felt disappointed and threw it away before going back to sleep.

Luckily, the story didn't end there. After a couple of hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the garbage to double-check. To her surprise, the result was clearly positive. She realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests providing instant results, and had forgotten that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully develop.

In other parts of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This was unexpected for her because she noticed some significant differences in the symptoms she experienced compared to her first pregnancy. During this pregnancy, she felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which led her to believe that she was carrying a boy. She even had already chosen a theme for the nursery based on this assumption.

Earlier this month, the Pardis used a creative method to reveal the gender of their baby by uncovering pink slips of paper hidden beneath two slices of pepperoni pizza. Both Summer and her husband, who is a country singer, were taken aback by the news of expecting another daughter, but they expressed their overwhelming excitement about it.

The well-being of a happy and healthy baby is our top priority. Additionally, we are content with having two children for now. While I can't completely rule out the possibility, we currently do not have any intentions or specific plans for a third child.

The couple is not in agreement about the name for their upcoming baby. Summer claims that Pardi, who chose their first child's name, dislikes all her suggestions for their second baby's name. This disagreement has caused some tension between them, but Summer reassures that they are just joking about not talking. She also shared a list of her top choices for the baby's name, which includes Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.

Pardi and Summer tied the knot in 2020 and their daughter, Presley, arrived in February 2023. Upon revealing their pregnancy news, they mentioned that they had been actively attempting to conceive since their wedding day. They had sought advice from medical professionals before deciding to take a break from their efforts, and coincidentally, they became pregnant shortly after.
