Loretta Lynn’s Son’s Post-Surgery Update: A Troubling Outcome

  • by

Earlier this week, the family of Loretta Lynn shared an update about her son, Ernest Ray Lynn, who is 69 years old. He had undergone surgery to treat his kidney failure. However, the initial results from the procedure suggest that it did not go as well as doctors had anticipated.

Crystal, the wife of Ernest, shared an update with fans on Thursday (Jan. 25) regarding Ernest's recent surgery. A few days had passed since the operation, and Crystal had initially shared some information on Facebook. She had mentioned that the doctors would provide more details on the success of the surgery on that particular day.

In her update, she expressed that the day did not go according to their expectations, but they are determined to persist. They firmly believe that this operation will be a success and that God will provide for their needs. They kindly request prayers, specifically for the new device to start functioning properly tomorrow morning. They have faith in God and the power of prayer, and they are grateful for the ongoing prayers, support, and friendship.

Crystal has not provided any additional official information about Ernest since Sunday. However, she has taken to social media to inform fans that they are still praying for her husband. She has also shared a collection of pictures of Ernest, some of which seem to have been captured while he was in the hospital.

Loretta Lynn survived the passing of two of her children, Betty Sue and Jack Benny. Betty Sue died in 2013 due to complications from emphysema, while Jack Benny tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on the Lynn family's property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.

Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills, at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she established herself as a prominent figure in the country music industry and held the record for being the female country artist with the highest number of awards.
