Country singer Morgan Wallen expresses anger towards his former managers for releasing his old music without his consent. In response, he retaliates by releasing a new song.

Country artist Morgan Wallen released a new song called "Spin You Around (1/24)" last Friday. This song was a response to the release of some old songs by his former managers, which he claims were done without his consent. Wallen explained this situation to his fans through a detailed Instagram post on Thursday.

As stated by Wallen, he moved to Florida in 2014 with the intention of creating and recording his own music. This decision ultimately led to him entering into contracts for a recording deal and an artist management deal, which he now deeply regrets. Wallen admits that he did not seek legal advice before signing these agreements.

According to the individual, they created a total of 13 songs. However, they admitted that the quality of these songs varied. They explained that they were still in the process of learning how to write songs and were trying to figure everything out. It is important to note that they were not the sole contributor to these songs, and therefore, some of them did not align with their own ideas or meet their personal standards.

The singer mentioned that after those recording sessions, they released a five-track EP called Stand Alone. One of the songs on the EP, titled "Spin You Around," gained popularity among fans. Now, after 10 years, the singer's former colleagues are planning to re-release the original EP along with eight previously unreleased songs.

Take a look at this Instagram post from Morgan Wallen. He shared a post on his Instagram account.

Wallen expressed his disgust towards the situation, condemning it as both selfish and a prime illustration of how the negative aspects of the music industry can drain the passion and creativity from artists.

In response, Wallen has stated that he plans to re-record his song "Spin You Around" and is also making a donation of $100,000 from his Morgan Wallen Foundation to the Volunteer Lawyers & Professionals for the Arts program. This organization in Tennessee offers legal advice to artists. Wallen hopes that this story will inspire young musicians to understand that they should never have to sacrifice their creative freedom for opportunities in the music industry.
