"We will be conducting auditions and employing various methods to discover talented individuals. I believe this process will be enjoyable for people as well," says Parton. "It's unpredictable where we might find these individuals. They might have never performed on stage before or may have only been involved in local theater productions. However, we are determined to search for them, and I believe this aspect will add to the excitement of the endeavor."
Parton has previously mentioned the concept of a musical inspired by her life in various interviews. She expressed her desire to see the show come to fruition by the end of 2025, as stated in her recent interview with People magazine.
