Hayden Panettiere, known for her role in the popular TV show 'Nashville', recently revealed in an interview that filming the show had a significant impact on her, describing it as a highly distressing experience.
From 2012 to 2018, Panettiere played the role of Juliette Barnes, a country star, on the television show Nashville. Throughout her career, she has openly discussed her battles with alcohol, opioids, and post-partum depression. In a recent interview, Panettiere reveals that the writers of the show drew heavily from her own personal experiences for the storylines of her character, making the filming process particularly challenging for her.
From the very beginning, it felt like I was dating a football player and then Juliette also started dating a football player. However, the show then portrayed her as an alcoholic and showed her leaving her daughter to go to Europe, which was clearly not well-researched or original. It seemed like the writers were just taking elements from my own life and adding their own twist to it. And just like that, they were done with the storyline.
According to Panettiere, her time on Nashville was personally challenging because she felt as though she was reliving her own experiences through her character. Despite the professional success she achieved during those years, the emotional impact of the show was significant for her.
Panettiere will soon start a tour called "A Conversation With Hayden Panettiere" in three different cities. The purpose of this tour is to inspire and support individuals who may be facing similar challenges as she has in her own life.
