Jon Pardi's spouse has shared information about her second pregnancy. After announcing the exciting news to their fans, Jon Pardi and his wife, Summer, are fully focused on preparing for their upcoming baby. Summer recently offered a glimpse into her current pregnancy journey through an Instagram Stories Q&A session.
On Saturday, the wife of the singer responded to some fan inquiries regarding pregnancy and babies. She shared the story of how she discovered she was pregnant this time. She confessed that the news came unexpectedly, not because they weren't attempting to conceive, but because it took them a significant amount of time to get pregnant with their one-year-old daughter, Presley.
Summer shared on a slide that they faced significant difficulties conceiving their child, Presley. After trying for a period of two years and being advised to undergo IVF, they unexpectedly became pregnant naturally right after deciding to let go of all the stress. Following this experience, they made the decision to start trying for another baby in October, anticipating that it might take a while, but to their surprise, they were met with a positive outcome.
The day she discovered she was pregnant began with a pregnancy test that initially showed a negative result. She woke up very early in the morning and decided to take the test because she and her partner had been trying to conceive in the past few weeks. After observing the test, which appeared to be negative, she felt disappointed and threw it away before going back to sleep.
Luckily, the situation did not conclude there. Summer shares that a few hours later, she had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the garbage to reexamine it. To her surprise, the result was undoubtedly positive. She realizes that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests providing rapid results and had overlooked the fact that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully develop.
In other parts of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This was unexpected because she noticed significant differences in the symptoms she experienced compared to her first pregnancy. During this second pregnancy, she felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which led her to believe that she was carrying a boy. She even had already chosen a theme for the nursery based on this assumption.
In the past month, the Pardis had a straightforward gender reveal by removing two slices from a pepperoni pizza, which uncovered pink slips of paper beneath them. Even though both Summer and her husband, who is a country singer, were taken aback by the news of having another girl in the family, she expresses that they are extremely thrilled about it.
The well-being of a joyful and healthy baby is our top priority. Additionally, we are content with having two babies, although I cannot definitively rule out the possibility of a third, we currently have no intentions or future arrangements for one.
Although this couple agrees on most aspects of parenthood, there is one area where they have differing opinions: the name for their upcoming baby. Summer claims that Pardi, who had chosen their first child's name, dislikes all of her suggestions for their second child. She jokingly mentioned that they are currently not speaking because of this disagreement. However, she did share a list of her favorite names, which includes Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.
Pardi and summer tied the knot in 2020 and welcomed their child, Presley, in February 2023. When they initially revealed their pregnancy, they mentioned that they had been attempting to have a baby since their wedding day. They sought advice from medical professionals and decided to take a break from trying to conceive. Surprisingly, shortly after the break, they successfully got pregnant.
