Jon Pardi's spouse has shared information about her second pregnancy with their fans. Now that the couple has announced the exciting news, they are fully focused on preparing for their new addition. Summer recently provided a glimpse into her current pregnancy journey through an Instagram Stories Q&A session.
The singer's spouse recently responded to some inquiries from fans on Saturday (Jan. 27) regarding pregnancy and babies. One of the questions included the story of how she discovered she was pregnant this time. She confessed that the news came unexpectedly, not because they weren't attempting to conceive, but rather because it took them a considerable amount of time to become pregnant with their one-year-old daughter, Presley.
Summer shared in one slide that they struggled for two years to conceive their child, Presley. They were informed by medical professionals that they would need to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF) to increase their chances of getting pregnant. However, shortly after deciding to let go of their worries and stress, they miraculously conceived naturally. Reflecting on their previous experience, Summer and their partner decided to start trying for another baby in October, anticipating another challenging journey but were pleasantly surprised with a positive result.
The day she discovered she was pregnant began with a pregnancy test that initially showed a negative result. She woke up very early in the morning and decided to take the test because she and her partner had been trying to conceive for the past few weeks. After taking the test, she observed that it turned out to be negative. Feeling disappointed, she disposed of the test in the trash and went back to bed.
Luckily, the story didn't conclude there. After a couple of hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the garbage and recheck it. She discovered that it was indeed positive. Summer realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests providing rapid results and had forgotten that pregnancy tests require a few minutes to fully develop.
In another part of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This surprise stemmed from the fact that some of the symptoms she encountered during this pregnancy were quite different from her previous one. During this period, she experienced intense nausea from weeks 5 to 10, which led her to believe she was carrying a boy. She even had already chosen the theme for the nursery in anticipation of a baby boy.
Earlier this month, the Pardis performed a straightforward gender reveal by removing two slices from a pepperoni pizza to uncover pink slips of paper beneath them. Despite Summer and her husband, who is a country singer, being taken aback by the fact that they are having another girl, she expresses that they are extremely enthusiastic about it.
The well-being of a joyful and healthy baby is our top priority. Additionally, we are content with having two babies for now. While I won't completely rule out the possibility, we currently don't have any intentions of having a third baby.
The couple does not agree on what to name their upcoming baby. Summer claims that Pardi, who picked their first child's name, dislikes all of her suggestions for their second child's name. This disagreement has caused some tension between them, but Summer assures that they are just joking about not talking. She also revealed a list of her current favorite name options, which include Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.
Pardi and summer tied the knot in the year 2020, and their child, Presley, was born in February 2023. When they initially revealed their pregnancy news, they mentioned that they had been actively trying to conceive since their wedding. They had sought advice from doctors and decided to take a break from their efforts, but soon after, they successfully became pregnant.
