Jon Pardi’s Wife Opens Up About Surprise Pregnancy and Baby Names for Baby No. 2

Jon Pardi's spouse has shared information about her second pregnancy. The couple, known for their country music, are fully focused on preparing for their upcoming baby. Summer, Pardi's wife, recently provided fans with a glimpse into her current pregnancy through an Instagram Stories Q&A session.

The singer's wife took the time on Saturday (Jan. 27) to respond to fan inquiries about pregnancy and babies. One of the questions she addressed was how she discovered she was pregnant this time. She confessed that the news was unexpected, not because they were not actively trying to conceive, but rather because it had taken them a considerable amount of time to get pregnant with their one-year-old daughter, Presley.

Summer shared in a slide that they experienced great difficulty conceiving their child, Presley. After attempting for two years and being advised to undergo IVF, they miraculously conceived naturally when they decided to let go of all the stress and pressure. Understanding that the process might be lengthy once again, they made the choice to start trying for another baby in October, unaware of the pleasant surprise that awaited them.

On the morning she discovered she was pregnant, it began with her taking a pregnancy test that initially showed a negative result. She woke up very early in the morning and needed to use the bathroom, so she decided to take the test because she and her partner had been trying to conceive for the past few weeks. After observing the test, which indicated a negative result, she felt disappointed and discarded it in the trash before returning to bed.

Luckily, the story didn't conclude there. After a few hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the test from the garbage to recheck it. She discovered that it was indeed a positive result. Summer realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests providing immediate results, forgetting that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully develop.

In another part of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This was unexpected because she had experienced some symptoms during her second pregnancy that were quite different from her first. During this pregnancy, Summer felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10. This change in symptoms made her believe that she was going to have a boy. She even had chosen a nursery theme based on this assumption.

At the beginning of this month, the Pardis performed a straightforward gender reveal by removing two slices of a pepperoni pizza to uncover pink pieces of paper beneath. Despite both Summer and her husband, who is a country singer, being taken aback by the news of having another daughter, she expresses their immense enthusiasm about it.

The well-being of a joyful and healthy baby holds utmost significance. Furthermore, we are content with having two babies at the moment. While I cannot predict the future, we currently have no intentions or arrangements for a third child.

The couple is not in agreement when it comes to choosing a name for their unborn baby. Summer claims that Pardi, who had chosen their first child's name, dislikes all her suggestions for their second child and believes he has the final say. As a result, they are currently not discussing the matter. However, Summer jokingly mentioned a few names she currently likes, such as Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.

Pardi and summer tied the knot in 2020 and welcomed their daughter Presley in February 2023. They revealed that they had been attempting to conceive a baby since their wedding and had sought advice from medical professionals. However, they decided to take a break from their efforts, and surprisingly, they became pregnant shortly afterward.
