Jon Pardi's spouse has revealed information about her second pregnancy. Jon Pardi and his wife, Summer, have shared the exciting news with their fans that they are expecting their second child. The couple is now fully focused on preparing for the arrival of their baby, and Summer recently provided a glimpse into her current pregnancy through an Instagram Stories Q&A session.
During the weekend (January 27th), the spouse of the singer responded to some inquiries from fans about pregnancy and babies. This included sharing the story of how she discovered her current pregnancy. She confessed that the news came as a shock, not because they weren't attempting to conceive, but because it took them a considerable amount of time to become pregnant with their one-year-old daughter, Presley.
Summer shared in one part of her presentation that she and her partner faced significant challenges when trying to conceive their child, Presley. They struggled for two years and were even advised to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF). However, they surprisingly conceived naturally right after they decided to let go of their worries. Reflecting on this experience, they made the decision to start trying for another baby in October, anticipating that it might take a long time once again.
She discovered her pregnancy in the morning after taking a test, which initially showed a negative result. She woke up early in the morning and decided to take the test because she and her partner had been trying to conceive for a few weeks. After seeing the negative result, she felt disappointed and threw the test in the trash before going back to bed.
Luckily, the story did not come to an end at that point. After a few hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the trash to double-check. To her surprise, the result was clearly positive. She realized that she had become accustomed to the rapid results of COVID-19 tests and had overlooked the fact that pregnancy tests require a few minutes to fully show the outcome.
In another part of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl, particularly because she noticed some significant differences in the symptoms she experienced compared to her first pregnancy. During this pregnancy, she felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which led her to believe that she was carrying a boy. She even had already chosen a theme for the nursery, assuming it would be fit for a boy.
At the beginning of this month, the Pardis used a unique method to announce the gender of their upcoming child. They revealed the gender by removing two slices of a pepperoni pizza, which exposed pink pieces of paper underneath. Even though both Summer and her husband, a country singer, were taken aback by the news of having another daughter, they express great enthusiasm and joy about the new addition to their family.
The well-being of a happy and healthy baby is the top priority. Additionally, we are content with having two babies at the moment. Although I won't completely rule it out, we currently do not have any intentions of having a third baby.
The couple in question is not in agreement about the name for their upcoming baby. Summer claims that Pardi, who had chosen their first child's name, dislikes all of her suggestions for their second child and believes he is once again taking charge of the naming process. As a result, they are currently not speaking about this matter, although Summer adds that she is only joking. She also provided a list of her current preferred name options, which include Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.
Pardi and Summer tied the knot in 2020 and welcomed their child, Presley, in February 2023. Upon announcing the pregnancy, they revealed that they had been actively attempting to conceive since their wedding, seeking medical advice along the way. After temporarily pausing their efforts, they were pleasantly surprised to become pregnant soon after.
