Jon Pardi’s Wife Opens Up About Surprise Pregnancy and Name Disagreements

Jon Pardi's spouse has revealed information about her second pregnancy. After sharing the news with their fans, Jon Pardi and his wife Summer are fully focused on preparing for their upcoming baby. During an Instagram Stories Q&A session, Summer provided glimpses into her current pregnancy.

The singer's spouse took the time on Saturday (Jan. 27) to respond to some inquiries from fans regarding pregnancy and babies. One of the topics discussed was how she discovered her current pregnancy. She confessed that the news came as a shock, not because they weren't actively trying to conceive, but because it took them a significant amount of time to become pregnant with their one-year-old daughter, Presley.

Summer shared on one slide that they faced a significant struggle while trying to conceive their child, Presley. Despite attempting to get pregnant for two years and being advised to undergo IVF, they miraculously conceived naturally right after they decided to let go of all the stress and worries. They were amazed by this unexpected turn of events. Therefore, in October, they made the decision to start trying for another baby, just in case they encountered another lengthy process.

The day she discovered her pregnancy began with a pregnancy test that, at first glance, seemed to show a negative result. "I woke up very early one morning and needed to use the bathroom, so I decided to take a pregnancy test because we had been trying for a few weeks. I observed the test, it showed a negative result, so I felt disappointed, threw it in the garbage, and went back to sleep."

Luckily, the story didn't come to a close at that point. After a few hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the garbage to double-check. She discovered that the result was indeed positive. She realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests providing immediate results and had forgotten that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully develop.

In another part of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This was unexpected for her because some of the symptoms she experienced during this pregnancy were very different from her first one. During this pregnancy, she felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which made her believe that she was carrying a boy. She even had already chosen a theme for the nursery.

At the beginning of this month, the Pardis made a straightforward announcement of the gender by revealing pink slips of paper under two slices of a pepperoni pizza. Summer and her husband, a country singer, were both caught off guard by the news of having another daughter, but they express great enthusiasm about it.

The well-being of a happy and healthy baby is of utmost importance to us. Additionally, we are content with having two babies at the moment. While I won't completely rule out the possibility of a third baby in the future, we currently do not have any intentions or plans for it.

The couple is currently having a disagreement about what to name their unborn baby. Summer claims that Pardi, who already chose their first child's name, dislikes all of her suggestions for their second child. This disagreement has led to a temporary silence between them, although Summer assures that she is just kidding. She also provided a list of her favorite name options, such as Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.

Pardi and summer tied the knot in 2020 and welcomed their baby, Presley, in February 2023. They revealed during the announcement of their pregnancy that they had been actively trying to have a baby since getting married. They sought advice from doctors but paused their efforts for a while, and surprisingly, they got pregnant shortly after resuming their attempts.
