Jon Pardi's spouse has shared information about her second pregnancy. After announcing the news to their fans, Jon Pardi and his wife Summer are fully focused on preparing for their new arrival. Summer recently answered questions from fans on Instagram Stories and provided an update on her current pregnancy.
During the weekend (Jan. 27), the spouse of the singer responded to some inquiries from fans regarding pregnancy and babies. Among the topics discussed was the revelation of how she discovered her current pregnancy. She confessed that the news came unexpectedly, not due to lack of effort in trying to conceive, but because it took them a considerable amount of time to become pregnant with their one-year-old daughter, Presley.
Summer shared in one part of her presentation that they faced a lot of difficulties in conceiving their child, Presley. They tried for a duration of two years and were even advised to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment. However, when they decided to let go of all the stress and pressure associated with fertility treatments, they miraculously became pregnant naturally. This unexpected turn of events motivated them to try for another child in October, just in case they encountered a similar lengthy journey.
The day she discovered she was pregnant began with a pregnancy test that initially seemed to show a negative result. She woke up very early in the morning and decided to take the test because she and her partner had been trying to conceive for the past few weeks. After observing the test, which showed a negative result, she felt disappointed, discarded it in the trash, and went back to sleep.
Luckily, the story did not conclude at that point. After a few hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the garbage to recheck the results. She discovered that it was indeed a positive result. Summer realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests providing immediate results, causing her to forget that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully develop.
In another part of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This surprise stemmed from the fact that some of the symptoms she encountered during this pregnancy were completely different from her first one. During this pregnancy, she experienced intense nausea from weeks 5 to 10, which made her believe she was carrying a boy. She even had already chosen a theme for the nursery based on this assumption.
Earlier this month, the Pardis used a creative way to reveal the gender of their upcoming child. They pulled away two slices from a pepperoni pizza, unveiling pink slips of paper underneath to indicate that they are expecting a baby girl. Both Summer and her husband, who is a country singer, were pleasantly surprised by the news and expressed their immense excitement about welcoming another girl into their family.
The well-being of a happy and healthy baby is our top priority. Additionally, we are content with having two babies at the moment. While I can't predict the future, we currently have no intentions of having a third baby.
The couple disagrees on one aspect of being parents, and that is choosing a name for their unborn baby. Summer claims that Pardi, who had chosen their first child's name, dislikes all the names she suggests for their second child. She jokingly mentioned that they are currently not speaking because of this disagreement. Summer also shared a list of her favorite name options, which include Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.
Pardi and Summer have been married for a year and a half, and their daughter Presley was born in February of this year. When they initially revealed their pregnancy, they mentioned that they had been actively attempting to have a baby since their wedding. They sought advice from medical professionals before deciding to pause their efforts to conceive. Surprisingly, shortly after taking this break, they successfully became pregnant.
