Jon Pardi’s Wife Reveals Surprising Details About Her Second Pregnancy

  • by

Jon Pardi's spouse, Summer, has shared some information about her second pregnancy. The couple recently announced that they are expecting their second child, and they are now fully dedicated to preparing for the arrival of their baby. Summer provided fans with a glimpse into her current pregnancy through an Instagram Stories Q&A session over the weekend.

During the weekend (Jan. 27), the wife of the singer responded to some fan inquiries concerning pregnancy and babies. She shared the story of how she discovered her pregnancy this time, stating that it was unexpected. This wasn't because they weren't actively trying, but rather because it took them a considerable amount of time to conceive their first child, Presley, who is currently one year old.

Summer shared in a slide that they faced significant difficulty in conceiving their child, Presley. They tried for a duration of two years and were advised to undergo IVF. However, they unexpectedly conceived naturally as soon as they decided to disregard the IVF option. Summer mentioned that due to their previous struggles, they made the decision to start trying for another baby in October, just in case they encountered another lengthy process.

The day she discovered she was pregnant began with a pregnancy test that initially showed a negative result. Early in the morning, she woke up and needed to use the bathroom, so she decided to take the test because she and her partner had been trying to conceive in the past few weeks. She observed the test, which indicated a negative outcome, so she felt disappointed. She disposed of the test in the garbage and went back to sleep.

Luckily, the situation didn't conclude there. After a few hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the garbage and double-check. To her surprise, the result was clearly positive. She realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests providing instant results and had forgotten that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully develop.

In another part of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This was particularly surprising because she had experienced very different symptoms compared to her first pregnancy. During this pregnancy, Summer felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which made her believe that she was carrying a boy. She even had already chosen a theme for the nursery in anticipation of having a son.

In the recent past, Pardis carried out a straightforward gender reveal by removing two slices of pepperoni pizza to uncover pink slips of paper beneath. Despite both Summer and her spouse, a country singer, being caught off guard by the news of expecting another girl, she expresses their overwhelming excitement.

The well-being of a joyful and healthy baby is our top priority. Additionally, we are content with having two babies for now. While I won't completely rule out the possibility of a third child, it is not something we are currently planning for.

The couple is currently disagreeing on what to name their upcoming baby. Summer claims that Pardi, who chose their first child's name, does not like any of her suggestions for baby number two. As a result, they are currently not speaking, although Summer admits she is joking. She also revealed a list of her current favorite name options, which include Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.

Pardi and Summer tied the knot in 2020, and their daughter, Presley, was born in February 2023. They revealed that they had been actively trying to have a baby since their wedding and had sought medical advice before taking a break from their efforts. Surprisingly, they became pregnant shortly after deciding to pause their attempts to conceive.
