Jon Pardi's spouse has shared information about her second pregnancy. The couple, known for their country music, are now fully focused on preparing for the arrival of their second child. Summer, Pardi's wife, recently answered questions from fans on Instagram Stories, giving them a glimpse into her current pregnancy journey.
During a Q&A session with fans on Saturday (Jan. 27), the singer's spouse shared some insights about their pregnancy journey and experiences with babies. One of the topics discussed was how she discovered her current pregnancy. Surprisingly, she admitted that the news caught them off guard. It was unexpected not because they weren't actively trying to conceive, but because it took them a considerable amount of time to get pregnant with their one-year-old daughter, Presley.
Summer shared in one slide that they experienced difficulties conceiving their child, Presley, for a period of two years. They were informed that they needed to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF) to increase their chances of getting pregnant. However, when they decided to let go of the pressure and stress associated with fertility treatments, they miraculously conceived naturally. With this unexpected success, they made the decision in October to start trying for another baby, anticipating the possibility of another lengthy process before achieving pregnancy.
She discovered her pregnancy in the morning through a test that initially showed a negative result. Early in the morning, she woke up and needed to use the bathroom, so she decided to take a pregnancy test. Since they had been trying to conceive in the past few weeks, she thought it was a good time to check. After taking the test, she watched as it displayed a negative result, which left her disappointed. Disheartened, she discarded the test in the trash and went back to bed.
Luckily, the story didn't conclude there. Summer, after a couple of hours, decides to retrieve the pregnancy test from the garbage and recheck the results. To her surprise, the test showed a positive outcome. She realizes that she had grown accustomed to rapid results from COVID-19 tests and had forgotten that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully develop.
In another part of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This was surprising to her because she noticed significant differences in the symptoms she experienced compared to her first pregnancy. During this pregnancy, she felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which led her to believe that she was expecting a boy. She even had already chosen a theme for the nursery based on this assumption.
Earlier this month, the Pardis made a creative gender reveal by uncovering pink slips of paper hidden under two slices of pepperoni pizza. Despite being caught off guard by the news of having another daughter, both Summer and her husband, a country singer, are extremely thrilled and looking forward to the new addition to their family.
The well-being of a happy and healthy baby holds the utmost significance. Additionally, we are content with having two babies. While I can't completely rule out the possibility, we don't currently have any intentions for a third baby.
The couple is not in agreement when it comes to choosing a name for their unborn baby. Summer claims that Pardi, who had previously chosen their first child's name, dislikes all of her suggestions for their second baby and believes that he will choose the name again. As a result, they are currently not speaking to each other, although Summer admits she is joking. She also provided a list of her current favorite name options, such as Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.
Pardi and summer got married in 2020 and their child, Presley, was born in February 2023. When they revealed their pregnancy, they mentioned that they had been actively trying to conceive since their wedding. They even sought advice from doctors before deciding to take a break from trying. Surprisingly, soon after they stopped trying, they became pregnant.
