Jon Pardi’s Wife Shares Surprising Pregnancy Details and Baby No. 2 Plans

  • by

Jon Pardi's spouse, Summer, has shared information about her second pregnancy. After announcing the news to their fans, Jon Pardi and Summer are fully focused on preparing for their baby. Summer recently gave followers a glimpse into her current pregnancy through an Instagram Stories Q&A session over the weekend.

During a Saturday Q&A session, the singer's spouse shared details about their pregnancy journey and answered fan queries. She revealed that the news of her current pregnancy came unexpectedly, even though they were actively trying. This is because it took them quite some time to conceive their first child, who is now one year old and named Presley.

Summer shared in a presentation that they faced significant challenges when trying to conceive their child named Presley. They attempted to get pregnant for a span of two years and were advised to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF). However, coincidentally, they conceived naturally right after they decided to let go of all the stress and pressure. With this in mind, they made the decision to start trying for another baby in October, anticipating that it might take a while just like their previous experience.

On that particular morning, she discovered her pregnancy by taking a test early in the morning. Initially, the test showed a negative result, which left her disappointed. Consequently, she discarded the test in the trash and returned to bed.

Luckily, the situation did not conclude there. Summer, after a few hours, had a feeling and decided to retrieve the test from the garbage and recheck it. To her surprise, the result was clearly positive. She realized that she had become accustomed to rapid results from COVID-19 tests and had forgotten that pregnancy tests need a few minutes to fully show the outcome.

In other parts of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that she was going to have another girl. This came as a surprise to her because she noticed significant differences in the symptoms she experienced compared to her first pregnancy. During this pregnancy, she felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which led her to believe that she was having a boy. She even had already chosen a theme for the nursery in anticipation of a boy.

Earlier this month, Pardis, a couple, announced the gender of their baby by revealing pink slips of paper hidden under two slices of a pepperoni pizza. Despite being caught off guard by the news of expecting another daughter, both Summer and her husband, who is a country singer, expressed their immense excitement about the upcoming addition to their family.

The well-being of a joyful and healthy baby is of utmost significance to us. Additionally, we are content with having two babies at the moment. While I can't completely rule out the possibility, we currently do not have any intentions or arrangements for a third baby.

The couple is currently in disagreement about what to name their upcoming baby. Summer says that Pardi, who chose their first child's name, dislikes all of her suggestions for their second baby and believes he gets to choose the name again. As a result, they are currently not talking about it, although she says it jokingly. Summer also shared a list of her current favorite name options, which include Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.

Pardi and summer tied the knot in 2020 and welcomed their baby, Presley, in February 2023. Upon announcing the pregnancy, they revealed that they had been actively trying to conceive since their wedding. They sought medical advice during this process but decided to temporarily pause their efforts. Surprisingly, they were able to conceive shortly after taking this break.
