In a recent interview, Hayden Panettiere, known for her role in the hit show 'Nashville', revealed that filming the series had a profound impact on her, describing it as a highly distressing experience.
Panettiere, known for her role as Juliette Barnes on the TV show Nashville from 2012 to 2018, has been candid about her battles with alcohol, opioids, and post-partum depression. In a recent interview, she reveals that the show's writers drew heavily from her own experiences to shape her character's storylines, making the filming process particularly challenging for her.
Right from the start, it felt like I was dating a football player, and then Juliette starts dating one too," Panettiere explains. "But then they portray her as an alcoholic. And then they have her abandon her daughter and go to some crazy place in Europe. It was very clear that they weren't being innovative with the storylines. They were just taking inspiration from my life and putting their own twist on it. And just like that, it's done and finished."
Panettiere expresses that her time in Nashville was highly fulfilling in terms of her professional growth. However, she found the experience to be quite distressing as it felt like she was reliving her own personal life through her acting.
Panettiere plans to begin a tour called "A Conversation With Hayden Panettiere" across three cities. Her aim is to inspire and support individuals who are facing similar challenges as she has in the past.
