In a recent interview, Hayden Panettiere, known for her role in the popular TV series 'Nashville,' revealed that the experience of filming the show had a significant impact on her, describing it as "very traumatizing." Despite the success she achieved in her professional life through the show, Panettiere expressed the emotional toll it took on her.
From 2012 to 2018, Panettiere played the role of Juliette Barnes, a famous country singer, in the television series Nashville. Throughout her career, she has openly discussed her personal battles with alcohol, opioids, and post-partum depression. In a recent interview, Panettiere revealed that the show's writers drew inspiration from her own life experiences to develop her character's storylines, which added an extra layer of difficulty to the filming process.
From the beginning, it felt like I was in a relationship with a football player, and then Juliette also started dating a football player," Panettiere expressed. "But then, the show portrayed her as an alcoholic. They also depicted her abandoning her daughter and going to some crazy place in Europe. It was clear that they were not being original with their storylines. Instead, they were just taking inspiration from my real life and adding their own twist to it. And just like that, it was done and over with."
According to Panettiere, her time on the show Nashville was personally challenging because she felt as though she was reliving her own life experiences, despite it being a fulfilling experience for her career.
Panettiere has planned a tour called "A Conversation With Hayden Panettiere" that will take place in three cities. Through this tour, she aims to inspire and support individuals who are facing similar challenges as she has experienced.
