Hayden Panettiere, known for her role in the popular TV series 'Nashville', recently revealed in an interview that filming the show had a significant impact on her emotional well-being, describing it as a "very traumatizing" experience. Despite achieving great success in her career through the show, Panettiere admits that the filming process took a toll on her.
Panettiere played the role of Juliette Barnes, a country music star, in the TV series Nashville, which aired from 2012 to 2018. She has been vocal about her challenges with alcohol, opioids, and post-partum depression. In a recent interview, Panettiere reveals that the show's writers drew heavily from her own experiences to shape her character's storylines, making the filming process particularly challenging for her.
Right from the start, it felt like I was dating a football player and then Juliette starts dating one too," Panettiere explains. "But then they portrayed her as an alcoholic. After that, they had her abandon her daughter and go to some crazy place in Europe. It was clear that they weren't being original in their storytelling. They were just taking inspiration from my life and putting their own twist on it. And voila! It's done and over with."
According to Panettiere, her time on Nashville was personally challenging as she felt that she was reliving her own life while acting on the show, despite the professional success she experienced during those years.
Panettiere plans to begin a tour called "A Conversation With Hayden Panettiere" in three different cities. The purpose of this tour is to inspire and support individuals who are facing similar challenges as she has in her own life.
