Hayden Panettiere, known for her role in the TV show 'Nashville', recently revealed in an interview that despite the show's success, filming it was a highly distressing experience for her.
Panettiere played the role of Juliette Barnes, a country music star, in the TV show Nashville, which aired from 2012 to 2018. She has been transparent about her battles with alcohol, opioids, and post-partum depression. In a recent interview, she reveals that the show's writers heavily drew inspiration from her own life experiences to create her character's storylines, making the filming process particularly challenging for her.
Right from the start, it felt like I was dating a football player, and then Juliette also dates a football player," Panettiere explains. "But then they make her character an alcoholic. And then they make her abandon her daughter and go to some crazy place in Europe. It was obvious that they were not being creative and doing their research. They were just taking elements from my own life and putting their own twist on it. And just like that, it's done."
According to Panettiere, her time on Nashville was fulfilling in terms of her career. However, she also describes the experience as deeply distressing because it felt as if she was reliving her own life through her acting.
Panettiere is planning to go on a tour called "A Conversation With Hayden Panettiere" in three different cities. Through this tour, she aims to inspire and support individuals who are facing similar challenges as she has in her life.
