Chris Young has been found not guilty of all charges in relation to the incident that occurred at a bar in Nashville on Monday night.
Glenn Funk, the District Attorney of Nashville, has issued a statement announcing that the charges will be dropped based on a thorough examination of all the evidence involved in this particular case.
The concise statement did not provide any further details, however, Young's attorney had requested for the entire case to be dropped and for an apology to be issued. This was in response to a video that emerged, which depicted Young being forcefully pushed to the ground by an agent from TABC.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Night" seems to extend his arm in front of an agent, but he is forcefully pushed. As a result, the 38-year-old singer stumbles backwards and falls into the bar, eventually landing on some nearby chairs.
Attorney Bill Ramsey asserts that the arrest and charges leveled against his client, Chris Young, at a bar in Nashville on Monday night were unjust and should not have occurred. This statement was given to Taste of Country on Wednesday, January 24th.
Young and TABC had their initial encounter at the Tin Roof bar just a few moments ago. According to the agency's report, Young raised his ID above his head and followed through with the necessary inspection. However, when he returned, the report indicated that he had bloodshot and watery eyes, as well as speaking in a slurred manner.
A representative acknowledged that they did encourage Young to "create space." However, when the video footage of the incident became available, the majority of the public supported Young's perspective.
Taste of Country was given access to four different camera angles, which enables fans to assess the extent of his aggression in the video above. As of now, Young has not made any statements regarding the incident on social media.
