In the show, he works as a strong-arm for his father, John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), as they go to extreme lengths to maintain strict control over their family ranch, called the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. This control is pursued relentlessly, even if it means disregarding the boundaries set by the law.
In October 2023, he unveiled his first EP in the country genre titled "Pain Pills or Pews." According to an insider from Life & Style, Grimes, who initially had a passion for music before achieving success as an actor, is extremely satisfied with his new musical venture. In fact, he is contemplating leaving acting behind and dedicating himself entirely to his newfound career in music.
According to the source, he is currently not accepting any other acting opportunities. Instead, Luke is focused on embarking on a journey in the near future.

In order to create his album, he explained that he had to confront and overcome his fear. He recognized the opportunity before him and decided to seize it, fully aware that the outcome was uncertain.
He concluded by saying that even if this album turned out to be the only thing he achieved in this particular area, the experience of meeting all these individuals made it completely worthwhile.
