Could 'Yellowstone' actor Luke Grimes be considering giving up his acting career after the show comes to an end, despite gaining global recognition for his role?
Grimes, who is 40 years old, portrays the character Kayce Dutton on the TV show Yellowstone. Kayce works as an enforcer for his father, John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), and is dedicated to helping him maintain complete control over the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. This control is so important to John that he is willing to resort to any means necessary, even if they are illegal.
In October 2023, he put out his first country EP called "Pain Pills or Pews." According to a source from Life & Style, Grimes, who initially had a passion for music before finding success as an actor, is extremely pleased with his new musical venture. He is even considering leaving acting behind to fully devote himself to his newfound career in music.
According to the source, he is currently not accepting any other acting opportunities. Instead, Luke is focused on going on a journey or tour in the near future.
According to a source, Grimes, who is both an actor and singer, is scheduled to have a performance at the Stagecoach Festival in California in April. This opportunity has been a dream come true for Grimes, as they have always aspired to be a part of this festival.
This does not imply that fans of the actor should completely abandon the idea of watching him onscreen in the future. Grimes mentioned in an interview with Taste of Country in December 2023 that even though he had a strong passion for music, he did not feel a pressing need to pursue it as a career when he was younger and involved in different bands.
In order to create his album, he explains that he needed to overcome his fear and embrace the opportunity he had. He made the decision to take the chance and see what the outcome would be.
He concluded by stating that even if creating this album is the only accomplishment he achieves in this particular field, it would still be completely worthwhile due to the opportunity of meeting all the individuals involved.
