Could 'Yellowstone' actor Luke Grimes be considering leaving the acting industry altogether after the show comes to an end? Grimes rose to global recognition for his leading role in Yellowstone, but a recent report suggests that he might be planning to quit acting.
At the age of 40, Grimes portrays the character of Kayce Dutton on the television show Yellowstone. In the series, Grimes' character works as a strong supporter of his father, John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), who is determined to maintain strict control over the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch at any cost, even if it means resorting to illegal methods.
In October 2023, he launched his first country EP titled "Pain Pills or Pews." According to a source from Life & Style, Grimes, who initially had a passion for music before finding success as an actor, is extremely satisfied with his new musical career. In fact, he is considering leaving acting behind to fully dedicate himself to his newfound passion for music.
According to the source, he is currently not accepting any acting opportunities and is instead planning to go on a journey in the near future.
According to a source, the performer, who is both an actor and a singer, is scheduled to take the stage at the Stagecoach Festival in California in April. This opportunity is said to be a lifelong dream come true for Grimes.
This does not imply that fans of the actor should completely abandon hope of seeing him in future onscreen projects. In an interview with Taste of Country in December of 2023, Grimes mentioned that while music was his initial passion, he did not have a strong desire to pursue it as a career when he was younger and involved in different bands.
In order to create his album, he explained that he needed to overcome his fear and seize the opportunity that was presented to him. He decided to take a chance and see what the outcome would be.
He concluded by saying that even if this album is the only accomplishment he achieves in this particular field, the experience of meeting all these individuals was completely worthwhile.
