There are speculations that Luke Grimes, who gained global recognition for his leading role in Yellowstone, might give up acting completely once the show comes to an end.
At the age of 40, Grimes portrays the character Kayce Dutton on the television series Yellowstone. In the show, he acts as an enforcer for his father, John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), who will do anything to maintain strict control over the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, even if it means resorting to illegal methods.
In October 2023, he put out his first country EP titled "Pain Pills or Pews". According to a source from Life & Style, Grimes, who initially had a passion for music even before finding success as an actor, is incredibly satisfied with his new musical venture. He is even considering the possibility of leaving acting behind and dedicating himself fully to his newfound career in music.
According to the source, he is currently not accepting any other acting opportunities. Instead, Luke is focused on embarking on a journey or tour in the near future.
According to a source, the performer who is both an actor and singer, has been scheduled to showcase their talents at the Stagecoach Festival in California in April. They have expressed that this opportunity has always been a dream of theirs.
This does not imply that fans of the actor should completely abandon the hope of watching him in future movies or shows. Grimes mentioned in an interview with Taste of Country in December 2023 that while music was his initial passion, he did not have a strong desire to pursue it as a career when he was younger and involved in different bands.
In order to create his album, he explains that he had to overcome his fears and take advantage of the opportunity that was presented to him. He decided to seize the chance and see what the outcome would be.
He concluded by saying that even if this album is the only accomplishment he ever achieves in this particular field, the experience of meeting all of these individuals has made it completely worthwhile.
