Could 'Yellowstone' actor Luke Grimes be considering leaving the acting profession once the show comes to an end, despite achieving global recognition for his role?
At the age of 40, Grimes portrays the character Kayce Dutton on the television show Yellowstone. In the show, he works as an enforcer for his father, John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), who is determined to maintain absolute control over the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, even if it means resorting to illegal methods.
In October of 2023, he made his first foray into country music with the release of his EP titled "Pain Pills or Pews". According to a source from Life & Style, Grimes, who originally had a passion for music before finding success as an actor, is extremely satisfied with his new musical venture. In fact, he is reportedly considering leaving acting behind to fully dedicate himself to his newfound musical career.
According to the source, the individual is currently not accepting any new acting opportunities. Instead, they are focused on embarking on a journey in the near future.
According to a source, Grimes, who is both an actor and singer, is set to perform at the Stagecoach Festival in California in April. This opportunity is said to be a lifelong dream for Grimes.
This does not imply that fans of the actor should completely abandon their hopes of seeing him in future movies. Grimes shared with Taste of Country in December 2023 that while music was his initial passion, he did not have a strong desire to turn it into a full-time career when he was younger and performing with different bands.
In order to create his album, he explains that he had to overcome his fear and take advantage of the opportunity at hand, not knowing what the outcome would be.
He concluded by expressing that if creating this album is the only opportunity he gets to work in this field, it would still be completely worthwhile due to the connections he made with all of these individuals.
