There are rumors suggesting that Luke Grimes, who gained global recognition for his role in Yellowstone, might give up acting completely once the show comes to an end.
Grimes, who is 40 years old, portrays the character of Kayce Dutton in the television show Yellowstone. In the show, he works as an enforcer for his father, John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), who is determined to maintain strict control over the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, even if it means resorting to illegal methods.
In October of 2023, he introduced his first country EP titled "Pain Pills or Pews." According to a source from Life & Style, Grimes, who initially prioritized music over his successful acting career, is incredibly satisfied with his new musical journey. In fact, he is contemplating leaving acting behind to fully dedicate himself to his newfound passion in music.
According to the source, he is currently not accepting any other acting offers. Instead, Luke is eager to embark on a journey in the near future.
According to a source, Grimes, who is both an actor and singer, is set to have a performance at the Stagecoach Festival in California in April. This opportunity has been a long-held aspiration for Grimes.
This doesn't imply that fans of the actor should completely abandon the idea of watching him in future movies or shows. Grimes mentioned in an interview with Taste of Country in December 2023 that while music was his initial passion, he didn't have a strong desire to turn it into a profession when he was younger and part of different bands.
In order to create his album, he explains that he had to overcome his apprehension and decide to seize the opportunity that was presented to him, without being sure of what the outcome would be.
He concluded by expressing that even if this album is the sole accomplishment he achieves in this particular field, it would still be incredibly valuable because of the connections he made with all of the individuals involved.
