At the age of 40, Grimes portrays the character Kayce Dutton in the television series Yellowstone. In the show, his role is to assist his father, John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), in maintaining absolute control over the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. This often involves resorting to unconventional methods that may not always be within the boundaries of the law.
In October of 2023, he put out his first country EP called "Pain Pills or Pews." According to a source from Life & Style, Grimes, who initially had a passion for music before finding success in acting, is extremely satisfied with his new musical career. In fact, he is considering giving up acting altogether and dedicating himself fully to his newfound love for music.
According to the source, he is currently not accepting any other acting opportunities. Instead, Luke is eager to embark on a journey in the near future.
According to a source, Grimes, who is both an actor and singer, is scheduled to perform at the Stagecoach Festival in California in April. This is something that Grimes has always desired and is considered a lifelong dream for her.
This does not imply that fans of the actor should completely abandon the idea of watching him on screen in the future. Grimes stated in an interview with Taste of Country in December of 2023 that even though music was his initial passion, he did not have a strong desire to turn it into his profession when he was younger and performing with different bands.
In order to create his album, he explains that he had to overcome his fears and embrace the opportunity that was presented to him. He decided to seize the moment and see what outcomes would unfold.
He concluded by expressing that even if this album is the sole accomplishment he achieves in this particular field, the experience of meeting all these individuals has made it completely worthwhile.
