Luke Grimes, who gained global recognition for his role in Yellowstone, is reportedly considering giving up acting completely once the show comes to an end.
At the age of 40, Grimes portrays the character of Kayce Dutton in the television series Yellowstone. In the show, he works as an enforcer for his father, John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), who is determined to maintain strict control over the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch at any cost, regardless of whether his methods abide by the law or not.
In October 2023, he introduced his first country EP titled "Pain Pills or Pews." A reliable source from Life & Style magazine reveals that Grimes, who originally had a passion for music even before his acting success, is extremely pleased with his new musical venture. In fact, he is considering leaving his acting career behind to fully embrace his newfound passion for music.
According to the source, he is currently not accepting any other acting opportunities. Instead, Luke is focused on embarking on a journey or tour in the near future.
According to a source, the performer, who is both an actor and a singer, has been scheduled to take the stage at the Stagecoach Festival in California in April. This opportunity is described as a lifelong dream for Grimes.
This doesn't imply that fans of the actor should completely abandon hope of seeing him in future projects. In an interview with Taste of Country in December 2023, Grimes mentioned that while music was his initial passion, he didn't have a burning desire to pursue it as a career when he was younger and involved in different bands.
In order to create his album, he explains that he needed to overcome his fear and take a chance on the opportunity he had. He decided to face his fear head-on and see what would come out of it.
He concluded by saying that if creating this album is the only thing he achieves in this particular area of his career, then it was completely worthwhile because he had the opportunity to meet and connect with all of these individuals.
