Luke Grimes, who gained international recognition for his role on the popular TV show Yellowstone, is reportedly considering leaving the acting industry once the show comes to an end.
In the TV show Yellowstone, the character Grimes, who is 40 years old, portrays the role of Kayce Dutton. Kayce works as a strong-arm for his father, John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), as they both strive to maintain absolute control over the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. They are willing to go to extreme lengths, even if it means breaking the law, to achieve their goal.
In October 2023, he unveiled his first country EP titled "Pain Pills or Pews". According to a source from Life & Style, Grimes, who initially had a passion for music before achieving success as an actor, is extremely satisfied with his new musical venture. There is even a possibility that he might leave acting behind and fully dedicate himself to his blossoming music career.
According to the source, he is currently not accepting any new acting opportunities. Instead, Luke is primarily focused on embarking on a journey in the near future.
According to a source, Grimes, who is both an actor and singer, is scheduled to have a performance at the Stagecoach Festival in California in April. This event has been a long-desired aspiration for Grimes.
This doesn't imply that fans of the actor should completely abandon the idea of watching him in future movies or shows. Grimes mentioned in an interview with Taste of Country in December 2023 that even though he had a strong passion for music, he didn't have any specific ambitions to turn it into his career when he was younger and performing with different bands.
In order to create his album, he explains that he had to overcome his fear and take a chance. He realized that there was a great opportunity in front of him and decided to seize it, with the mindset of seeing what outcome it would bring.
He concluded by saying that even if this album is the only project he gets to work on in this particular genre, it would still be completely worthwhile because he had the opportunity to meet and interact with all of these individuals.
