Luke Grimes, who gained global recognition for his lead role in Yellowstone, is reportedly considering giving up acting completely once the show comes to an end.
Grimes, who is 40 years old, portrays the character Kayce Dutton in the TV show Yellowstone. In the show, his character works as an enforcer for his father, John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), helping him maintain complete control over the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch by any means necessary, even if it means breaking the law.
In October 2023, he unveiled his first country EP titled "Pain Pills or Pews". According to a source from Life & Style, Grimes, who initially had a passion for music before finding success as an actor, is extremely fulfilled by his new musical venture. In fact, he is contemplating leaving acting behind and fully devoting himself to his newfound music career.
According to the source, he is currently not accepting any other acting opportunities. Instead, Luke is focused on embarking on a journey or tour in the near future.
According to a source, Grimes, who is both an actor and a singer, is set to take the stage at the Stagecoach Festival in California in April. This opportunity is said to be a fulfillment of a long-held aspiration for Grimes.
This doesn't imply that fans of the actor should completely abandon their hopes of seeing him in future onscreen projects. In an interview with Taste of Country in December 2023, Grimes mentioned that while he had a passion for music, he never had the ambition to turn it into a full-time career when he was younger and performing with different bands.
In order to create his album, he explained that he had to conquer his fear and embrace the opportunity that was presented to him. He decided to seize the chance and see what would come out of it.
He concluded by saying that even if creating this album is the only accomplishment he achieves in this particular genre, it was completely worthwhile due to the connections and relationships he formed with all the individuals involved.
