Conner Smith has released his first album titled "Smoky Mountains" which is now available. One of the tracks from the album, called "Creek Will Rise," is rapidly gaining popularity on the country music charts.
Not too far in the past, the emerging talent was an average 16-year-old who attended a concert of one of his beloved country music artists.
During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available for streaming, Smith shares an anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that left a significant impression on him.
At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to a Thomas Rhett concert. I distinctly recall that it took place at Ascend Amphitheater, and we were situated on the lawn area. During the performance, Thomas Rhett played his popular song "Die a Happy Man," and at that moment, I attempted to slow dance with the girl, aiming to create a romantic and affectionate atmosphere.
Smith mentions that the following day, his partner ended their relationship.
After we have a good laugh, he proceeds to tell the rest of the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on tour with Rhett and he realized that he had ultimately ended up having the final victory in that situation.
Smith has recounted this particular story on multiple occasions during his performances, and it has become a beloved choice among the audience.
Let's discuss the ultimate satisfaction and justice in a relationship ending.
