  • by

Conner Smith has recently released his first album titled "Smoky Mountains". One of the tracks from the album, called "Creek Will Rise", is gaining popularity and rapidly climbing the country music charts.

Recently, the up-and-coming celebrity was an ordinary teenager who attended a concert by one of his favorite country music artists.

During the recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available for viewing at any time, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016, which greatly affected him.

At the age of 16, I went on a date with a girl to see a Thomas Rhett concert. The show took place at Ascend Amphitheater and we were seated on the lawn. During the performance, Thomas Rhett played his popular song "Die a Happy Man" and I attempted to slow dance with the girl in a sweet and romantic manner.

Smith mentions that the following day, his partner ended their relationship with him.

After having a good laugh, he proceeds to narrate the rest of the story. "About four years later, I find myself on tour with Rhett, and at that moment, I realize that I had the final victory in that situation," he remembers, expressing his satisfaction.

Smith has recounted this narrative during his performances on multiple occasions, and it has become a beloved choice amongst the audience.
