The 2024 People's Choice Awards will be held in February. This time, the awards show has included two new country categories in their extensive list of nominations.
Following a triumphant introduction of the People's Choice Country Awards expansion in 2023, the primary event has introduced two additional accolades: the Male Country Artist of the Year and the Female Country Artist of the Year. As a result, the total number of categories for the show has now reached 45.
Previously, the show has showcased artists from different genres such as pop, hip-hop, and R&B. The PCAs have also recently revealed their plans to acknowledge Male and Female Latin Artists in 2024.
The artists nominated for the Male Country Artist category are Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Hardy, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Zach Bryan. The nominees for Female Country Artist are Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Gabby Barrett, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, and Shania Twain.
Audiences have the opportunity to cast their votes online for the artist they admire the most until the day of the event. The 2024 People's Choice Awards have been planned to take place on February 18th at 8PM ET, airing on NBC.
