Determined, I lowered my head and sprinted towards first base. The crowd erupted with cheers and applause. However, as I glanced up, I was shocked to see that Garth Brooks, the famous musician, had made an impressive diving catch in left field. Sadly, his incredible play extended my streak of not getting a hit in the game to 0-4.
