Thomas Rhett Helps Rising Star Conner Smith Get Over Heartbreak and Rise to Country Music Fame

Conner Smith has released his first album called "Smoky Mountains" and it is now available. One of the songs from the album, titled "Creek Will Rise," is gaining popularity and climbing up the charts in the country music genre.

Not too far in the past, the up-and-coming celebrity was just an average 16-year-old who attended a concert by one of his beloved country music artists.

During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, which is available to be watched whenever desired, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that greatly affected him.

At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to see Thomas Rhett perform. The concert took place at Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated on the lawn. During the show, Thomas Rhett played his song "Die a Happy Man," and in that moment, I wanted to slow dance with the girl I was with, trying to create a sweet and romantic atmosphere.

Smith further explains that the following day, his girlfriend ended their relationship.

After sharing a moment of laughter, he proceeds to narrate the rest of the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on a tour with Rhett when he realized that he had come out on top in the situation, indicating his satisfaction.

Smith has shared this story multiple times during his performances, and it has become a beloved choice among the audience.
