Conner Smith has released his first album titled "Smoky Mountains" which is currently available. One of the songs from the album, "Creek Will Rise," is rapidly gaining popularity on the country music charts.
However, not too far in the past, the up-and-coming celebrity was simply an average 16-year-old who attended a concert of one of his beloved country music artists.
During a recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available for streaming, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that had a significant effect on him.
At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to watch a Thomas Rhett concert. The venue was Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated on the lawn area. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his song "Die a Happy Man," and I was attempting to slow dance with the girl, aiming to create a romantic and affectionate atmosphere.
Smith mentions that the following day, his partner ended their relationship.
After sharing a laugh, he proceeds to tell the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on tour with Rhett and realized that he had ultimately come out on top, finding the situation quite amusing.
Smith has also shared this story during his performances, and it's a crowd pleaser.
Let's discuss the ultimate satisfaction and validation one can experience during a breakup.
