Conner Smith has released his first album called "Smoky Mountains" and it is currently available. One of the songs from the album, titled "Creek Will Rise," is gaining popularity and climbing up the country music charts.
Not too far in the past, the young and promising individual was simply a typical 16-year-old who attended a concert by one of his beloved country music performers.
During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available On Demand, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016, which had a significant influence on him.
At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to watch a Thomas Rhett concert. The venue was Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated in the lawn area. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his popular song "Die a Happy Man," and I attempted to slow dance with the girl in a romantic manner.
Smith mentions that the following day, his girlfriend ended their relationship.
After sharing a moment of laughter, he proceeds to tell the rest of the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on tour with Rhett when he realized that he had ultimately come out on top in that situation.
Smith has recounted this anecdote on multiple occasions during his performances, and it has consistently been well-received by the audience.
Let's discuss the ultimate satisfaction and validation that can be experienced during a breakup.
