Conner Smith, a new artist, has recently released his first album titled "Smoky Mountains". One of the songs from the album, called "Creek Will Rise", is gaining popularity and climbing the ranks on the country music charts.
Not too distant in the past, the up-and-coming talent was an average 16-year-old who attended a live performance by one of his beloved country music artists.
During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available On Demand, Smith shares a personal experience about going to a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that had a significant effect on him.
At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to watch a Thomas Rhett concert. The venue was Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated in the lawn area. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his song "Die a Happy Man," and I attempted to have a slow dance with the girl, trying to create a romantic and affectionate atmosphere.
Smith added that the following day, his girlfriend ended their relationship.
After sharing a moment of laughter, he proceeds to narrate the rest of the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was touring alongside Rhett when he realized that he had ultimately emerged victorious in that situation.
Smith has shared this story with the audience on multiple occasions, and it has become a popular choice among listeners.
Let's discuss the ultimate satisfaction and validation that can be achieved in a breakup.
