Conner Smith, a rising artist, has recently released his first album called "Smoky Mountains." One of the tracks from this album titled "Creek Will Rise" is gaining popularity and rapidly climbing the charts in the country music genre.
Not too far in the past, the up-and-coming celebrity was simply an ordinary sixteen-year-old who went to a concert to watch one of his beloved country music artists.
During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights available for streaming, Smith shares a personal experience of attending a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that left a lasting impression on him.
At the age of 16, I went on a date with a girl to see Thomas Rhett perform live. The concert took place at Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated on the lawn. During the show, Thomas Rhett played his song "Die a Happy Man," and I wanted to slow dance with my date and be affectionate towards her.
Smith goes on to say that the following day, his partner ended their relationship.
After sharing a moment of laughter, he proceeds to tell the rest of the story. "About 4 years later, I find myself on tour with Rhett and I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction, as if I had triumphed in the end," he remembers.
Smith has recounted this story multiple times while performing on stage, and it has become a beloved choice among the audience.
Let's discuss the ultimate satisfaction and validation that can be experienced during a breakup.
