Conner Smith has released his first album, titled "Smoky Mountains," which is now available. One of the standout tracks from the album, called "Creek Will Rise," is quickly gaining popularity on the country music charts.
Not too far in the past, the up-and-coming talent was an ordinary teenager of 16 years, attending a live performance of one of his beloved country music artists.
During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available On Demand, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016, which left a lasting impression on him.
At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to see Thomas Rhett perform live. The concert took place at Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated on the lawn area. I vividly recall Thomas Rhett playing his popular song "Die a Happy Man," and we attempted to slow dance together, trying to create a romantic and affectionate atmosphere.
Smith further states that the following day, his partner terminated their relationship.
After having a good laugh, he proceeds to narrate the rest of the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on tour with Rhett. At that point, he realized that he had ultimately had the final victory in that particular situation.
Smith has shared this anecdote with the audience on multiple occasions, and it has become a beloved choice among listeners.
Let's discuss the ultimate satisfaction and retribution that can be achieved during a breakup.
