  • by

Conner Smith has released his first album titled "Smoky Mountains" which is currently available. One of the tracks from the album, "Creek Will Rise," is gaining popularity and climbing the country music charts.

Not too far back in time, this talented young person was just an average 16-year-old who attended a concert of one of his beloved country music artists.

During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, which is available On Demand, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that left a significant impression on him.

At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to see a Thomas Rhett concert. The concert took place at Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated on the lawn area. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his popular song "Die a Happy Man," and we attempted to slow dance together. I was hoping to create a romantic and affectionate moment with her.

According to Smith, the following day, his girlfriend ended their relationship.

After a moment of shared laughter, he proceeds with his story. He mentions how, after four years had passed, he found himself on tour with Rhett. He then humorously remarks, "I suppose I had the final chuckle in that situation, if you catch my drift."

Smith has shared this story with the audience multiple times during his performances, and it has become a beloved choice among the viewers.

Let's discuss the ultimate form of revenge and satisfaction that can be experienced during a breakup.
