  • by

Conner Smith has recently released his first album called "Smoky Mountains," which is now available. One of the tracks from the album, titled "Creek Will Rise," is quickly gaining popularity and climbing the ranks on the country music charts.

Not too far back in time, the up-and-coming celebrity was an average teenager of 16 years old. He would attend concerts of his beloved country music artists, just like any other person.

During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available on demand, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016, which left a significant impression on him.

At the age of 16, I had a date with a girl and we attended a Thomas Rhett concert. The venue was Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated on the lawn area. During the concert, Thomas Rhett performed "Die a Happy Man," and I attempted to slow dance with my date, trying to create a romantic and affectionate atmosphere.

Smith goes on to say that the following day, his girlfriend ended their relationship.

After sharing a moment of laughter, he proceeds to tell the rest of the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on tour with Rhett and had a realization that made him feel triumphant. He felt like he had the final victory in that situation, if you catch my drift.

Smith has recounted this anecdote multiple times during his performances, and it has become a beloved moment for the audience.

Let's discuss the most satisfying and justified form of revenge and validation in a romantic separation.
