Thomas Rhett’s Concert Helps Rising Star Conner Smith Get Over Ex-Girlfriend

  • by

Conner Smith, a rising country music artist, has recently released his debut album called "Smoky Mountains". One of the tracks from the album, titled "Creek Will Rise", is quickly gaining popularity and climbing up the country music charts.

However, not too distant in the past, the up-and-coming talent was simply an average 16-year-old who attended a concert of one of his beloved country music performers.

During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available for viewing at any time, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016, which had a significant effect on him.

At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to watch a Thomas Rhett concert. I distinctly recall that the concert took place at Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated on the lawn area. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his popular song "Die a Happy Man," and in that moment, I attempted to slow dance with the girl I was with, aiming to create a romantic and affectionate atmosphere.

According to Smith, the following day, his girlfriend ended their relationship.

After sharing a moment of laughter, he proceeds to tell the rest of the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on tour with Rhett and had a realization that made him feel triumphant, saying, "I suppose I ended up having the final laugh in that situation, if you know what I mean."

Smith has shared this story with the audience on multiple occasions and it has become a popular choice among them.

Let's discuss the ultimate satisfaction and justification that can be achieved during a breakup.
